Abstraksi

ABSTRAKSI: Suatu institusi merupakan tempat yang menerapkan kedisiplinan yang tinggi dimana seseorang harus mentaati peraturan disemua aspek yang telah ditetapkan didalamnya. Salah satunya adalah kedisiplinan terhadap ketepatan waktu masuk maupun waktu pulang. Untuk itu, setiap ruangan disuatu institusi diberi jam sebagai penanda waktu. Permasalahannya adalah jam yang dipasang antara ruang yang satu dengan yang lainnya menunjukkan waktu yang tidak sama atau berbeda. Misalnya saja disuatu institusi banyak dosen maupun mahasiswa/i yang datang tidak tepat waktu. Sehingga kedisiplinannya kurang berjalan dengan baik.<br>Teknologi selalu berkembang, diantaranya adalah teknologi digital. Benda-benda yang bekerja secara analog, kini digantikan oleh benda-benda yang bekerja secara digital, salah satunya adalah jam digital. Jam digital yang dibuat pada proyek akhir ini adalah peneraan jam digital dimana melibatkan 1 buah jam master dan 2 buah jam slave yang outputnya akan ditampilkan pada layar LCD, dimana kerja LCD tersebut dikontrol oleh sebuah IC mikrokontroller yaitu AT89C51.<br>Jam master merupakan jam yang utama dimana tombol-tombol untuk mengatur jam ada disini sehingga jika jam master ini diubah-ubah maka 2 buah jam slave secara otomatis akan mengikutinya setelah 20 detik. Oleh karena itu jam digital yang dibuat ini waktunya akan selalu sama. Oleh karena itu, semua ruangan di suatu institusi akan memiliki waktu yang seragam dan dapat memberikan patokan waktu yang sama untuk semua elemen yang ada didalam suatu institusi tersebut.Kata Kunci : Jam Digital,Master-SlaveABSTRACT: An institution is the place to apply the discipline of where someone have to obey the rules in all aspects defined there in. One of them is the discipline of the accuracy of time entry and time to go home. To that end, each room in an institutions has an sign time. The problem is the hours that are placed between the space of one with the other shows the time that is not the same. For example, in the institution which many students and lecturers do not come on time. Less so the discipline running well.<br>Technology is always evolving, one of them is digital technology. The things that work in analog, is now replaced by the things that work in digital, one of which is a digital clock. Digital clock made in this end project is a digital clock where equation involve a master clock and 2 slaves clock that the output will be displayed on the LCD screen, where it’s work is controlled by a mikrokontroller namely IC AT89C51.<br>Master clock is the main clock where the main keys is to set it, so if the master clock changed then the slaves clock will automatically follow after twenty second. Therefore, a digital clock will always display the same timing. Therefore, all rooms in an institution will have uniform time and to provide the same timing standard for all elements of the existing institutions.Keyword: Digital Clock,Master-Slave
