Abstraksi

ABSTRAKSI: KPI (Key Performance Indicator) merupakan target standar performansi network yang harus dicapai oleh suatu perusahaan telekomunikasi. KPI ini mengandung parameter-parameter sebagai berikut : HOS rate, TCH Blocking, EMD dan SDCCH success.<br>Handover success rate (HOS rate), merupakan proses handover yang sukses mendapatkan TCH dari sel neigbour dengan proses soft atau hard handoff. Traffic Channel Blocking (TCH Blocking) merupakan jumlah TCH yang tidak bisa menghandle call yang masuk. Erlang Minute Drop (EMD) merpakan jumlah erlang yang bisa di tampung sebelum terjadi drop. Standalone Dedicate Control Channel success (SDCCH success) merupakan kemampuan kanal signaling untuk menghandle call yang masuk.<br>Parameter-parameter tersebut merupakan parameter-parameter untuk menentukan performansi dari sisi BSS (Base Station Subsystem) yaitu dari sisi BTS dan BSC.<br>Pada proyek akhir ini dilakukan analisa terhadap performansi kanal trafik untuk pencapaian standar target key performance indicator dengan mengambil kasus pada BTS Caladi. Dari analisa yang dilakukan sebelum penerapan cell improvement untuk pencapaian target key performance indicator yaitu bulan November terhadap periode tiga bulan sesudah penerapan cell improvement untuk pencapaian target key performance indicator didapat nilai yang cukup baik terutama untuk TCH blocking yang mampu di tekan hingga 0,15% dan juga handover success rate yang selalu berada diatas 90 %.Kata Kunci : ABSTRACT: KPI (Key Performance Indicator) is standart target of network performance which must reached by a telecommunication company. This KPI is include of parameters for example : HOS rate, TCH Blocking, EMD, and SDCCH Success.<br>Handover Success rate (HOS Rate) is handover process which get reah TCH from neighbour cell whit soft process or hard handoff. Traffic Channel Blocking (TCH Blocking) is total TCH which cannot handle incoming call. Erlang Minute Drop is total erlang which can catch before droping happen. Standalone Dedicate Control Channel Success (SDCCH Success) is ability of signaling channel to handle incoming call.<br>That parameters is parameters for decide performance from BSS (Base Station Subsystem) that is from BTS and BSC.<br>This final project is discussing of analyzing for traffic channel to reach standart target of Key Performance Indicator by take care from BTS Caladi. From analyzing which it done before application of cell improvement to reach the Key Performance Indicator target that is November to three month periode after application of cell improvement to reach Key Performance Indicator target we get better values aspecially for TCH Blocking which can pressured until 0,15% and Handover Success which always above 90 %Keyword:
