PT. SMA Pegangsaan is the research object which is produces five types of motorcycles. Raw material warehouse 1 implements class based dedicated storage policy, where items are grouped by transporter ID and the types of goods in the warehouse occupies a s ingle location, and the location can not be used by other goods even though the location is empty. Due to excess inventory, this policy can not be applied because many goods are stored outside the storage block, so will be affected to the warehouse activit y, especially the picking activity that has a longer time, there is 537 seconds of total time of 1071 seconds. However, duration of activity picking is not only caused by excess capacity, but also because the operator is difficult to find goods caused by t he absence of labeling that shows the location of the goods in warehouse and the presence of backtracking when the operator pick the goods from the storage area. Therefore, it is necessary to repair the storage allocation of goods in the warehouse. <br>Alloca tion of goods begins with the classification of goods in the warehouse by using FSN Analysis based on the transporter ID, and then designed of the slot in accordance with the storage media that is used for each SKU (Stock Keeping Unit). Items with the Tran sporter ID category Fast Moving higher priority to be place closed to the entrance and exit point, so that it calculating the distance in each storage area by using rectilinear distance. After calculating, get the percentage of distance reduction is 25,33% for floor stack area at 1st floor while the percentage of area used is 71,90% , 16,28% distance reduction for rack area at 1st floor while the percentage area used is 70,53% , 8,17 % distance reduction for floor stack area at 2nd floor while the percentage of area used is 67,61% , and 58,83 distance reduction for rack area at 2nd floor while the percentage area used is 100% . The reduction of distance means to reduction of cycle time for warehouse activity. The percentage area used shows that there aren’t goods stored outside the block W arehousing, FSN Analaysis, Zoning, Rectilinear Distance
