Abstraksi

Telkom University, as a leading private university in Bandung, West Java, creates a superior educational environment through the Faculty of Industrial Engineering with 5 study programs, holding lecture activities that include theory and practicum, supported by more than 30 laboratories. Even though the technical management of laboratory staff runs smoothly, the consumables warehouse faces challenges in warehouse management, especially the layout of the goods. Data recording of goods in consumable goods warehouses is lacking, especially in recording asset inventory such as purchase data, inbound data, outbound data, usage data, inventory data and expiry date data. In the process of arranging goods in the warehouse, laboratory staff only placed goods randomly because they had no previous knowledge about warehousing. The amount of space on the shelves is not efficient and optimal, causing warehouse utility to be below standard, reaching only 51% rather than the minimum standard of 85%. This research aims to design optimal storage locations in consumable goods warehouses in order to increase warehouse utility. Furthermore, this research will compare actual conditions with conditions after implementation of warehouse allocation design improvements. The benefits of research increase the efficiency and effectiveness of consumable goods warehouse management. The contribution of this research lies in the implementation of the fuzzy algorithm approach as a solution to improve warehouse conditions. It is hoped that the results of this research can provide valuable guidance for warehouse optimization and support the smooth running of practicum and research activities at the Faculty of Industrial Engineering, Telkom University.<br /> <br /> Keywords — Warehouse, Layout, Utility, Fuzzy AHP<br />
