Abstraksi

A major problem for Indonesia is food loss and waste (FLW), which happens at high rates during eating, especially with grains and vegetables. Food loss and waste (FLW) in Indonesia is caused by ten direct and eight indirect sources, according to the 2021 BAPPENAS study. Both direct and indirect drivers contribute to food loss and waste (FLW). Direct drivers are acts inside the food supply chain that produce FLW, whereas indirect drivers are systemic variables that impact supply chain operations and include economic, cultural, and political aspects. With an estimated yearly production of 20.93 million tons, Indonesia is poised to surpass all other Southeast Asian countries in terms of food waste, according to the UNEP’s Food Waste Index 2021. For the amount of food that goes to waste, Indonesia is second in the world. Throughout the supply chain, food goes uneaten, making it a major problem on a worldwide scale.  In this study, we aim to quantify the factors that impact customers' intentions to buy food excess
