Abstraksi

The development of information technology has advanced rapidly, marked by the increasing growth of digital services, which in turn has driven the evolution of more sophisticated computing technologies. Cloud computing is one form of computing system that has recently attracted significant attention and is increasingly being used to manage resources. The use of cloud computing is also expanding worldwide, including in Indonesia. However, there are still considerations regarding the feasibility of cloud adoption in Indonesia from a techno-economic perspective and its alignment with existing regulations. Therefore, this study was conducted to comprehensively analyze the feasibility of cloud computing from these three aspects if implemented in Indonesia.<br /> This study focuses on a comprehensive analysis of cloud computing from three key aspects: technology, economics, and regulation. The technological aspect covers architecture, network topology, and security testing. The economic analysis examines the business potential of cloud computing through revenue modelling and investment feasibility using NPV, IRR, PP, and PI metrics. The regulatory aspect reviews relevant Indonesian regulations and explores the possibility of referencing international cloud computing frameworks.<br /> The technical aspects of the cloud are covered by the overall performance of the cloud in the simulation when used as an intermediary of inter-router communication. The simulation results shows that cloud performed well and all simulation devices can communicate properly. After technical analysis, an economic analysis was conducted to evaluate the financial feasibility of the implementation of cloud computing network. From the initial costs, operational costs, and potential expected profits, the implementation of cloud computing network is considered feasible and profitable. Furthermore, the recommendation for regulatory framework can be used as a guidance to support the use of cloud computing network to maximize the potential benefits of cloud.
