ABSTRAKSI: Seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi internet dan peningkatan jumlah pengguna perangkat, alamat yang disediakan Internet Protokol Version 4 (IPv4) sebanyak 232 sudah tidak cukup lagi untuk menutupi jumlah pengguna internet yang semakin yang ada. Teknologi Internet Protokol Version 6 (IPv6) hadir untuk menyempurnakan kekurangan pada teknologi IPv4, diantaranya dalam hal pengalamatan dan mobilitas.<br> Dengan adanya mobile IPv6, dilakukan simulasi untuk mengetahui kualitas suatu jaringan IPv6 berbasiskan jaringan network mobilty (NEMO) yang terdiri dari beberapa komponen yakni home agent, foreign agent, dan mobile router. Dimana mobile router akan melakukan perjalanan dari home network ke foreign network dengan metode handover. Pada proses handover tersebut, mobile router akan terus berhubungan dengan perangkat ipv6 lainnya.<br> Dari beberapa skenario seperti kecepatan mobile router dan banyaknya perangkat ipv6 didapatkan hasil analisis handover delay sebesar 3,27 s, besarnya rata-rata packet loss sebesar 4,67% dan dikategorikan baik berdasarkan ITU. Besarnya round trip time rata-rata sebesar 5,35 ms.Kata Kunci : MIPv6, NEMO, Mobility, HandoverABSTRACT: Along with the development of Internet technology and the increasing number of user devices, Internet Protocol address provided Version 4 (IPv4) as many as 232 are no longer enough to cover the growing number of Internet users there. The Internet Protocol Version 6 (IPv6) is present to enhance the technological shortcomings of IPv4, such as in terms of addressing and mobility.<br> With the mobile IPv6, conducted simulations to determine the quality of a network of IPv6-based network mobilty networks (NEMO), which consists of several components of the home agent, foreign agent and mobile router. Where the mobile router will travel from the home network to a foreign network handover method. At the handover, the mobile router will keep in touch with other ipv6 devices.<br> From some scenarios such as speed and the number of mobile routers ipv6 devices handover delay analysis results obtained at 3.27 s, the magnitude of the average packet loss of 4.67% and categorized both by ITU.
