Abstraksi

ABSTRAKSI: Extreme Programming (XP) merupakan salah satu dari beberapa metodologi<br /> Agile. Sedangkan Agile Unified Process (AUP) merupakan aplikasi agile dari<br /> Unified Process. XP sangat cocok untuk sistem yang sering mengalami perubahan<br /> requirement dan customer memiliki banyak waktu untuk duduk berdampingan<br /> dengan developer. AUP cocok untuk sistem yang memiliki dokumentasi sebagai<br /> sarana komunikasi antar stakeholder dimana hal ini tidak bisa diwujudkan jika<br /> hanya menggunakan XP. Menggabungkan keduanya sebagai solusi jika sistem<br /> sering mengalami perubahan requirement akan tetapi customer tidak memiliki<br /> waktu untuk bisa duduk berdampingan dengan developer. Kasus seperti ini<br /> merupakan realitas yang paling sering muncul dalam pembangunan sistem<br /> enterprise.<br /> Penggabungan dilakukan dengan cara menemukan aktivitas AUP yang relevan<br /> dengan aktivitas XP. Selanjutnya akan ditemukan artifact atau dokumentasi yang<br /> diperlukan sebagai sarana komunikasi untuk menggantikan komunikasi secara<br /> langsung antara pihak developer dengan customer.Kata Kunci : Extreme Programming, Agile Unified Process, requirement, stakeholder, artifact.ABSTRACT: Extreme Programming (XP) is one of Agile Methodologies. And Agile Unified<br /> Process (AUP) is an agile application of Unified Process (UP). XP is suitable for<br /> system that has a lot of requirement changes and customers have more time for<br /> developers. AUP is suitable for system that has documentations as communication<br /> tools among stakeholders where it couldn&rsquo;t be proved if it just used XP. It is a<br /> good idea to combine both XP and AUP as solution if the system has frequently<br /> requirement changes but customers didn&rsquo;t have more time for developers. This<br /> case is reality that is most available in system enterprise development.<br /> Combination of both methodologies is done by find out the activities of AUP<br /> that have relevancy with the activities of XP. And then, it will be found the<br /> artifacts or documentations that be needed to facilitate communication replacing<br /> face-to-face communication among developers and customers.Keyword: Extreme Programming, Agile Unified Process, requirement, stakeholder, artifact.
