ABSTRAKSI: Dalam struktur dasarnya, unsur pembentuk kalimat terdiri dari suatu verba atau<br /> kata kerja dan satu atau lebih frase nomina. Kata kerja berfungsi menghubungkan<br /> frase-frase yang ada dalam suatu kasus tertentu. Pemahaman kalimat akan lebih<br /> mudah jika peran semantis unsur pembentuk kalimat jelas. Maka muncul ide<br /> untuk membuat sebuah perangkat lunak yang dapat memberikan kemudahan<br /> dalam menentukan peran semantis dari unsur pembentuk kalimat dalam bahasa<br /> Indonesia.<br /> Proses yang dibutuhkan dalam menentukan peran semantis adalah parsing<br /> atau analisa sintaksis yang memeriksa kebenaran struktur kalimat berdasarkan<br /> suatu grammar atau tata bahasa dan lexicon atau kosa kata tertentu. Proses yang<br /> kedua adalah interpretasi semantik yang bertujuan merepresentasikan kalimat ke<br /> dalam struktur semantik.<br /> Interpretasi semantik ialah proses penerjemahan sebuah kalimat ke dalam<br /> peran semantis yang berbeda dari unsur pembentuk kalimat yang mengungkapkan<br /> suatu peristiwa atau keadaan yang melibatkan satu peserta atau lebih. Dua proses<br /> utama yang dilakukan dalam interpretasi semantik adalah penentuan peran unsur<br /> pembentuk kalimat, serta pemilihan arti kata yang tepat untuk membentuk kalimat<br /> yang masuk akal. Peran kata-kata dan frase dalam kalimat dapat direpresentasikan<br /> dalam case grammar. Sedangkan proses pemilihan arti kata yang tepat dapat<br /> dilakukan dengan selectional restrictions.<br /> Hasil implementasi interpretasi semantik dengan menggunakan Case<br /> Grammar terbukti dapat memecahkan masalah semantik secara terkomputerisasi.Kata Kunci : natural language processing, interpretasi semantik, case grammar.ABSTRACT: Finding or yield meaning in text want domination of structure of text. Mostly the on file human being knowledge in<br /> the form of Ianguage, expected by technological growth of computer get the<br /> picture meaning from text given in Ianguage experience of and give appropriate<br /> respon.<br /> Most recent research in learning approaches to natural language have studied<br /> fairly tasks such as morphology, part of speech tagging, syntactic parsing and<br /> semantic interpretation. Parsing is the recognition of the sentence structure based<br /> on a grammar and a lexicon. Semantic interpretation is the process of mapping a<br /> sentence into its meaning representation.<br /> Semantic interpretation is the process of mapping a sentence into its contextindependent<br /> meaning representation. There are two processes needed in building<br /> semantic interpretation, the first is to identify the semantic roles that each word<br /> and phrase plays in the sentence, the second is to choose the correct sense of each<br /> word to build a plausible sentence, which called word-sense disambiguation. The<br /> semantic roles may be represented using case grammar, word-sense<br /> disambiguation can be done by selectional restrictions.<br /> Case grammar approaches may have the most relevance and impact of<br /> semantic interpretation, where a case grammar representation of sentence meaning<br /> is important and useful.Keyword: natural language preocessing, semantic interpretation, case grammar.
