Abstraksi

ABSTRAKSI: Load Balancing merupakan teknik atau cara untuk membagi workload pada sebuah sistem, perangkat komputer ataupun jaringan. Tujuan dari teknik load balancing ini adalah untuk mengoptimalkan perangkat-perangkat yang digunakan dalam jaringan tersebut. Dalam load balancing, skema dispatcher-based merupakan salah satu skema yang sangat baik digunakan untuk mengontrol setiap request yang datang. Skema ini menggunakan dispacther sebagai proxy server untuk mengarahkan request ke sejumlah real server yang berada dibelakangnya. Salah satu algoritma penjadwalan yang digunakan dalam teknik load balancing ini yaitu least connection, dimana dispacther yang menerima request dari web client akan mengarahkan koneksi ke server yang memiliki jumlah koneksi paling sedikit saat itu. Sehingga teknik ini berupaya menyeimbangkan jumlah koneksi aktif pada jaringan kepada beberapa server. Pada tugas akhir ini membahas bagaimana implementasi load balancing dengan menggunakan skema dispatcher based dalam menerapkan algoritma least connection dalam sebuah jaringan.Kata Kunci : Kata Kunci: load balancing, dispatcher, request, least connection, workloadABSTRACT: Load Balancing is a technique or a way to divide the workload on a system, device or network computer. The purpose of load balancing technique is to optimize the devices used in the network. In load balancing, dispatcher-based scheme is one of a very good scheme is used to control every request that comes. This scheme uses dispacther as a proxy server to redirect requests to a real server that is behind it. One of the scheduling algorithm used in this load balancing technique that is least connections, where dispacther that receives requests from the web client will direct connections to servers that have the least amount of connection time. So this technique seeks to balance the number of active connections to multiple servers on the network. In this final project, we try to implement load balancing using dispatchers based scheme in applying the least connection algorithm in a network.Keyword: Keywords: load balancing, dispatchers, request, least connection, workload
