Abstraksi

ABSTRAKSI: Vehicular Ad Hoc Network (VANET) adalah pengembangan dari Mobile Ad Hoc Network (MANET) yang menjadikan sebuah kendaraan bermotor sebagai suatu node di dalam jaringan. Mobilitas node pada VANET sangat tinggi dan ini menyebabkan perubahan dari topologi jaringan VANET yang sangat sering. Berdasarkan kondisi jaringan yang berubah-ubah tersebut maka proses pencarian jalur yang tepat merupakan salah satu hal yang menjadi masalah dalam VANET.Diantara protokol routing berbasis posisi antar lain adalah GPCR routing protocol dan GSR routing protocol. Kedua routing protokol ini akan disimulasikan dan dianalisis performansinya berdasarkan parameter uji throughput, packet deliver ratio dan routing overhead pada lingkungan dalam kota (urban). Setelah simulasi didapatkan hasil bahwa GSR routing protocol menghasilkan performansi yang lebih baik pada parameter throughput dan packet delivery ratio. Sedangkan GPCR lebih baik performansinya pada parameter uji routing overhead. <br>KATA KUNCI: vanet, gsr, gpcr, protokol routingABSTRACT: Vehicular Ad Hoc Network (VANET) is development from adalah Mobile Ad Hoc Network (MANET) which make a transportation as nodes in network. Node mobility of VANET is ver high and cause changing in VANET’s network topology more often. Based on condition of that network, then process of making right route become one of major problem in VANET. There is Position based routing protocol. Among position based routing protocol, there are GPCR routing protocol and GSR routing protocol. Both routing protocols will be simulated and analyzed the performance based on test parameter like throughput,packet delivery ratio, adnd routing overhead in urban environment. After the simulation, the result is obtained that GSR routing protocol produce better performance in throughputand packet delivery ratio. While GPCRrouting protocol is better in routing overhead. <br>KEYWORD: vanet,GSR,GPCR,routing protocol
