ABSTRAKSI: Kemajuan teknologi yang pesat akhirakhir<br /> ini sangat berpengaruh pada<br /> dunia telekomunikasi.Salah satunya adalah dalam perkembangan jaringan<br /> telekomunikasi, dimana pada saat ini sedang marak dibahas jaringan telekomunikasi<br /> berbasis softswitch.<br /> STTTelkom sendiri yang merupakan perguruan tinggi di bidang<br /> telekomunikasi telah menjadikan teknologi softswitch sebagai salah satu materi dalam<br /> mata kuliah mahasiswa jurusan teknik elektro, yaitu dalam mata kuliah teknik<br /> switching.<br /> Untuk mempermudah pemahaman mahasiswa mengenai teknologi softswitch<br /> dan sejalan dengan berkembangnya komputer sebagai media bantu dalam proses<br /> pengajaran, maka pada proyek akhir ini dibuat suatu modul CBT (Computer Base<br /> Training) yaitu perangkat ajar yang memanfaatkan komputer sebagai media untuk<br /> menyampaikan pengajaran kepada siswa melalui interaksi langsung antara siswa<br /> dengan materi yang terprogram di dalam komputer.<br /> CBT ini diimplementasikan dengan perangkat lunak Macromedia Flash 8,<br /> dan CBT ini secara umum memuat materi dasar NGN (Next Generation Network),<br /> materi dasar Softswitch, teori dasar perancangan dan studi kasus perancangan<br /> jaringan Softswitch, alat bantu hitung dan evaluasi (kuis) terhadap materi yang telah<br /> dipelajari.<br /> Berdasarkan jajak pendapat responden, secara umum user telah merasa cukup<br /> puas terhadap tampilan maupun isi materi CBT yang telah dibuat dengan melihat data<br /> statistic 70% dan 56,7% responden setuju.Namun masih ada 6,7% dan 7% responden<br /> raguragu<br /> sehingga perlu perbaikan terus untuk kesempurnaan CBT seperti yang<br /> diharapkan.Kata Kunci : Softswitch, CBT(Computer Base Training), NGN(Next Generation Network), Macromedia Flash 8ABSTRACT: Nowadays, technology develops rapidly.It has a significant effect on<br /> telecommunication, including the telecommunication network.Softswitch is a new<br /> technology of telecommunication network which has been intensively disscused.<br /> STTTelkom is a telecommunication university which inserting the softswitch<br /> technology as one of its subject in switching technique which learned by the<br /> electrician engineering students.<br /> To help students in understanding about the softswitch technology and along<br /> with the computer development as a learning tool, therefore a CBT modul is made in<br /> this final project.This CBT modul can be used as a learning tool which using<br /> computer as a learning media for students.In this way, students can interact with<br /> subject which has been programmed in the computer.<br /> This CBT is implemented by Macromedia Flash 8 and contains all the base<br /> concept of NGN (Next Generation Network), Softswitch, base theory of design and<br /> case study softswitch network, calculation help tool and evaluation of subject that has<br /> been learned.<br /> Based on respondent survey, it means general user feel satisfied with both the<br /> display and the content of the CBT based on statistic data 70% and 56,% agree, but<br /> 6,7% and 7% respondent feel confuse, therefore need continue repair for CBT.Keyword: CBT(Computer Base Training), Softswitch, NGN(Next Generation Network), Macromedia Flash 8
