Abstraksi

ABSTRAKSI: Sistem informasi sudah menjadi bagian yang sangat signifikan dalam perkembangan teknologi saat ini. Perkembangan teknologi informasi dipengaruhi oleh tingginya kebutuhan akan teknologi dan sistem informasi yang akurat, efektif, dan efisien. Berkembangnya teknologi komputer mempengaruhi kinerja manusia sebagai operasional sistem sehingga peralihan ke arah sistem informasi yang berbasiskan komputer semakin meningkat. Salah satu penerapan teknologi komputer yaitu mengenai sistem informasi inventarisasi barang. Sistem inventarisasi ini memberikan informasi seperti informasi pengeluaran barang, penerimaan barang, dan informasi lain secara cepat dan akurat. Selain itu sistem ini berguna untuk membantu kerja user. Divisi Telkom Flexi Representative Office Solo memiliki sistem inventarisasi yang menggunakan manual book. Sistem yang diterapkan sekarang ini masih memiliki kelemahan-kelemahan yang secara umum dapat mempengaruhi efisiensi kerja user. Masalah tersebut misalnya mekanisme penghitungan barang ataupun mekanisme backup data.<br><br>Guna mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, maka dibuatlah aplikasi inventarisasi yang khusus dipergunakan pada Divisi Telkom Flexi RO Solo untuk menangani inventarisasi barang promo Flexi. Beberapa mekanisme mengacu pada sistem yang telah ada sehingga proses-proses pada aplikasi sistem yang akan dibangun akan relatif sama. Sistem ini dapat memberikan informasi pengeluaran barang, penerimaan barang, stok barang yang tersedia, dan informasi lainnya.Kata Kunci : inventarisasi, perhitungan, stok, penerimaan, pengeluaranABSTRACT: Recently information system has been a significant part in the development of technology. This development has been affected by the demand of efficient, effective and accurate information system and technology. The development of computers also influences people's duties as the operational system so that a transformation towards a computer based information system increases rapidly. One of the computer technology applications is the inventory information system. The system provides fast and accurate information such as expenses information, reception information, and some other information. Besides, this system is also useful in assisting user's tasks. A Division of Telkom Flexi Representative Office Solo has an inventory system using manual book. The system applied recently remains general weakness which affects user's efficient tasks. The problems are for instance, calculation mechanism or backup data mechanism.<br><br>To cover those problems above, an inventory application has been created to be specially applied in the Division of Telkom Flexi RO Solo in handling the inventory of Flexi promo barangs. Some mechanisms are following the existing systems so that the processes in the next application system will be relatively the same.
