XYZ Company is a 3PL company in Indonesia that provides a wide range of logistic services. One of the services offered is Warehouse Management. OPQ Company, which is engaged in produce beverages product, is one of XYZ Company’s current customer. Based on direct observation shows the delay in warehouse activities comes from the process of storing and picking because the searching process is done manually and placement of pallets that only by type of packaging.
Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and Process Activity Mapping (PAM) is used to map activity in the warehouse so that each process time and the value of each activity can be known. Searching activity in the process of storing and picking have non-value added time at most. The next step is to identify waste with tools checklist and fishbone diagrams based on criteria of 7 waste. Classification of products based on product characteristics FSN analysis. Slotting and zoning also conducted to determine the capacity of each slot along with the division of the area based on the classification of products. According to the results of this research, future state of VSM show the increase in value added time as much as 24% compared to the current state
