Saxion
University of Applied Sciences have long term goals to focused on internationalization and
reducing gap between technology and practical application. One of research centers at Saxion University,
Research Center for Urban & Environmental Development, have
ambition to expand their cooperation in
Indonesia, as Saxion University already has cooperation with Telkom University in Indonesia. Their
ambition is to increase potential business activities between Indonesia and Netherlands, especially
Bandung Region a
nd Twente Region in innovative sectors. To find the business opportunities, analyzed
the countries conditions with CAGE Framework to discover Culture, Administrative, Geography, and
Economic aspects in the countries. Finding the dominant economic sectors i
n both regions are done to
knew the potential business sectors that can be improve by the universities. The result is textile and cloth
industries became the dominant sectors in Bandung, with 78 cloth industries and 149 textile industries,
meanwhile in Twe
nte was formerly as center of textile industry, but
currently
is dominated by
government and care industry.
