Global crisis that happened in the first quarter of 2020 impact Indonesia economic growth. This also happened due to lower demand and weak of international commodity prices where before in 2019 the economic growth was 5.07%. This also impact advertising digital agency in Indonesia where these company found to no longer advertising due to lowered its ad spending by 40% to Rp. 3.5 trillion (US$235 million) in the third week of April 2020.
Human resource is important thing in an organization. In helping to achieve organization goal, human resource in a company is employee and all staff within the organization. the need of motivation is need to make great result of employee work. This study purpose is to find out he influcne of variable work motivation toward employee performance at PT Advert Mandiri Indonesia.
The phenomena in this study was further explored with quantitative methods and data collection was done through in-depth interviews and spreading questionaries. The data source was from primary data and secondary data the technique in this study also being processed through descriptive analysis, classic assumption test, simple regression analysis and hypothesis testing as well validity and realibility test.
The results of the study show that employees at PT Advert Mandiri Indonesia have a very high level of motivation and as well high employee performance, and as well that independent variable work motivation positively give great impact to varible employee performance as dependent varible.
Based on the result of this study, there will be further study about motivation and employee performance and further research can explore and expand the influence of motivation on other company with same business line or other business line and see other variable that can improve employee performance beside variable motivation.
