Modular printing plates are pieces of metal or wood motifs whose components can be disassembled, rearranged and also the direction of the motif can be adjusted. The block printing technique is unique, in that wooden blocks are made into stamps which are carved manually and then applied to the surface of the cloth. During the Art and Craft Movement era, works of art continued to develop and it would be better if individual craftsmanship could be revived, so workers would be able to produce beautiful objects from good craftsmanship rather than bad mass production. So that the goal is to create a design that is "made by the community for the community, and is a source of pleasure for the maker and user". This research includes curiosity research with qualitative research methods of observation, literature study, and exploration. This study found the optimal types of printing plates, fabrics, dyes, and motif compositions. Finally, the writer chose linen cloth material because linen cloth material is easy to obtain, linen cloth is usually used to make sheets of cloth measuring 200x50 cm such as scarves. By cultivating the block printing technique, the authors see that there is potential that can be developed in this technique, namely by combining block printing techniques with modular techniques which will later develop even more broadly. The visual renewal that has been created from the block printing technique with a modular method is in the form of motif inspiration. Keywords : Modular Stamp, Block printing, Vintage
