Abstrak :
Kota Tasikmalaya, dengan kekayaan seni, alam, kuliner, dan industri konveksi, mengalami peningkatan kunjungan bisnis yang mendorong permintaan penginapan yang mendukung aktivitas bisnis. Grand Metro Hotel, sebagai hotel bisnis bintang 4, mencatat peningkatan okupansi sejak akhir 2023, namun menghadapi beberapa masalah fasilitas, seperti zoning ruang meeting dan fleksibilitas ruang. Perancangan ulang interior hotel bertujuan untuk meningkatkan fasilitas bisnis yang bisa mewadahi aktivitas kegiatan bisnis, baik dalam aktivitas bisnis formal maupun informal, serta memperhatikan dari segi fasilitas yang lengkap untuk menunjang aktivitas pengguna. Melalui pengumpulan data dan analisis mendalam, dirumuskan solusi optimal untuk memenuhi kebutuhan fasilitas dan layanan yang mendukung aktivitas bisnis. Dengan menerapkan konsep "Contemporary Urban" pada perancangan ulang ini menghasilkan desain yang dapat meningkatkan kenyamanan pada pengunjung, produktivitas, dan kepuasan pengunjung bisnis, sekaligus dapat memperkuat daya saing hotel di industri perhotelan.

Abstract :
The city of Tasikmalaya, with its wealth of arts, nature, culinary and convection industries, is experiencing an increase in business visits which is driving demand for accommodation that supports business activities. Grand Metro Hotel, as a 4-star business hotel, has recorded an increase in occupancy since the end of 2023, but is facing several facility problems, such as meeting room zoning and space flexibility. The hotel interior redesign aims to improve business facilities that can accommodate business activities, both formal and informal business activities, as well as paying attention to complete facilities to support user activities. Through data collection and in-depth analysis, optimal solutions are formulated to meet the needs of facilities and services that support business activities. By applying the "Contemporary Urban" concept to this redesign, it produces a design that can increase visitor comfort, productivity and satisfaction of business visitors, while also strengthening the hotel's competitiveness in the hotel industry.
