This study examines the communication network patterns formed through the #PeduliDownSyndrome hashtag on X (formerly Twitter) in Indonesia, aiming to understand public engagement and awareness regarding Down Syndrome. The problem addressed is the limited yet crucial role of online discourse in shaping societal concern for individuals with Down Syndrome. Using a qualitative descriptive method with a Communication Network Analysis (CNA) approach, tweet data from January 2014 to December 2024 were collected via Tweet Harvest 2.6.1 and analyzed using Gephi to map structures, identify key actors, and classify their roles. The findings reveal a core–periphery network featuring Wheel, Y, Chain, and Circle patterns, with five central actors @javadonate, @ZaynNiayn, @takimanwar, @KailaAzahra3, and @rianubay functioning as opinion leaders, broadcasters, core members, gatekeepers, and amplifiers. These roles collectively enhance message dissemination, connectivity, and resilience. The study recommends fostering role diversity and strengthening cross-community connections in future digital awareness campaigns.
