ABSTRAKSI: WCDMA Downlink Channel is expected to can bring high datare service. The trouble is interferences between user and channel estimation process. In this final project will be done research about channel estimation process with predefine phase method that will be applied in Mobile Station (MS) with use phase portion of Base Terminal Station (BTS) that is mixed by channel to accept maximum power signal. From maximum power signal will be got portion phase that will applied in BTS to broadcast signal that will be accepted by Mobile Station This method will be used uniform Linier array with 2 antenna element that the distance is λ/2. The Portion Phase of MS will be set same with phase of BTS. In this research is also will compare performance between predefine phase method and predefine phase method. Study comparing consist of noise, fading, and interference The result of this research will show that predefine phase system is better than without predefine phase systemKata Kunci : -ABSTRACT: Kanal Downlink WCDMA diharapkan dapat membawa servise datarate yang tinggi.masalah yang timbul adalah interference antar user dan proses estimasi kanal . Pada Tugas Akhir ini akan dilakukan sebuah research mengenai proses estimasi kanal dengan menggunakan teknik Predefine phase yang akan dilakukan di Mobile Station (MS) dengan memanfaatkan fasa catuan dan sinyal dari Base Terminal Station (BTS) yang telah tercampur oleh kanal untuk mendapatkan sinyal dengan daya maksimum. Dari daya maksimum akan didapat fasa catuan yang akan diterapkan di BTS untuk memancarkan sinyal yang akan diterima oleh Mobile Station . Teknik ini akan menggunakan Uniform Linier Array dengan 2 element antena dengan jarak λ/2.Fasa catuan dari MS juga akan diset sama dengan fasa yang ada di BTS.Pada research ini juga akan membandingkan performansi antara teknik predefine phase dan tanpa predefine phase. Studi perbandingan meliputi performansi terhadap noise, fading, dan interference. Hasil dari penelitian ini akan menunjukan bahwa system predefine phase memiliki performansi yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan tanpa predefine phase.Keyword: -
