ABSTRAKSI: Multi Protocol Label Switching atau sering disingkat MPLS merupakan metode teknik pengiriman paket data pada jaringan telekomunikasi dengan kecepatan yang tinggi. Seiring dengan habisnya alamat pada IPv4, maka pemakaian teknologi MPLS berbasis IPv6 dapat menjadi solusi dari permasalahan pengiriman paket data dalam jaringan berbasis IPv6.
Dalam tugas akhir ini telah dibangun jaringan yang menggunakan MPLS berbasiskan pengalamatan IPv6 pada layanan Triple-Play serta layanan voice, video, data yang dijalankan secara terpisah. Kemudian dilakukan pemasangan skema QoS yaitu, Integrated Service dan Differentiated Service untuk diketahui pengaruh dari skema QoS tersebut pada kualitas layanan yang telah ditentukan dari sistem yang dibuat.
Dari hasil pengujian dapat disimpulkan bahwa skema QoS MPLS-Differentiated Service mampu memberikan hasil paling optimal dibandingkan skema QoS MPLS dan MPLS-Integrated Service. Pada layanan Triple-Play (VoIP), MPLS-DiffServ delay 51.69% lebih kecil dibandingkan MPLS-IntServ, dan 57.59% lebih kecil dibandingkan MPLS. MPLS-DiffServ jitter 55.14% lebih kecil dibandingkan MPLS-IntServ, dan 60.98% lebih kecil dibandingkan MPLS. MPLS-DiffServ packet loss 15.77% lebih kecil dibandingkan MPLS-IntServ, dan 31.73% lebih kecil dibandingkan MPLS. MPLS-DiffServ throughput 5.60% lebih besar dibandingkan MPLS-IntServ, dan 11.41% lebih besar dibandingkan MPLS. Pada layanan Triple-Play (Video Streaming), MPLS-DiffServ delay 5.79% lebih kecil dibandingkan MPLS-IntServ, dan 9.40% lebih besar dibandingkan MPLS. MPLS-DiffServ jitter 14.12% lebih kecil dibandingkan MPLS-IntServ, dan 16.51% lebih kecil dibandingkan MPLS. MPLS-DiffServ packet loss 1.24% lebih kecil dibandingkan MPLS-IntServ, dan 13.15% lebih kecil dibandingkan MPLS. MPLS-DiffServ throughput 0.70% lebih besar dibandingkan MPLS-IntServ, dan 0.87% lebih besar dibandingkan MPLS. Pada layanan Triple-Play (FTP), MPLS-DiffServ throughput 7.58% lebih besar dibandingkan MPLS-IntServ, dan 9.93% lebih besar dibandingkan MPLS.Kata Kunci : MPLS, QoS, IPv6, Triple PlayABSTRACT: Multi Protocol Label Switching or often called MPLS is a techical method to sent packet data in telecommunication network with very high speed rate. Moreover the capacity of IPv4 addressing will be over, so using technology MPLS IPv6 based could be solution from that problem.
In this thesis that have been build and measured the network that used MPLS on IPv6 based with Triple-Play service simultaneously and then voice, video, data services that run separately. After that will be configured QoS Schemes, which are Integrated Service and Differentiated Service to get to know the effects of the QoS Schemes to the Quality of Services from the system.
From the result testing could be concluded that QoS Scheme MPLS-Differentiated Service could gave the most optimal result than other QoS Schemes, MPLS and MPLS-Integrated Service. In Triple-Play (VoIP) Service, MPLS-DiffServ delay has less 51.69% than MPLS-IntServ, and less 57.59% than MPLS. MPLS-DiffServ jitter has less 55.14% than MPLS-IntServ, and less 60.98% than MPLS. MPLS-DiffServ packet loss has less 15.77% than MPLS-IntServ, and less 31.73% than MPLS. MPLS-DiffServ throughput has more 5.60% than MPLS-IntServ, and more 11.41% than MPLS. In Triple-Play (Video Streaming) Service, MPLS-DiffServ delay has less 5.79% than MPLS-IntServ, and has less 9.40% than MPLS. MPLS-DiffServ jitter has less 14.12% than MPLS-IntServ, and less 16.51% than MPLS. MPLS-DiffServ packet loss has less 1.24% than MPLS-IntServ, and less 13.15% than MPLS. MPLS-DiffServ throughput has more 0.70% than MPLS-IntServ, and more 0.87% than MPLS.
