ABSTRAKSI: Perumahan Setraduta yang terletak di bagian Bandung barat berbatasan dengan kota cimahi merupakan perumahan mewah dan modern. Jaringan akses yang digunakan masih menggunakan kabel tembaga, yang dinilai kurang memadai layanan triple play. PT. Telkom yang ingin meningkatkan kualitas layanannya, telah memiliki wacana bahwa pada tahun 2013 seluruh Bandung dengan merombak jaringan akses tembaga yang ada dengan Fiber Optic To The Home (FTTH). GPON (Gigabit Passive Optical Network) merupakan teknologi yang dipilih PT.Telkom.
Dalam tugas akhir ini, dilakukan peramalan demand untuk mengetahui jumlah pelanggan pemakai internet dan bandwidth beberapa tahun mendatang. Lalu dirancang jaringan akses FTTH menggunakan teknologi GPON dengan membuat jalur awal lalu penentuan perangkat, spesifikasi, tata letak dan volume yang digunakan. Kemudian untuk kelayakan sistem di analis dengan parameter Power Link Budget, Rise Time Budget, dan Redaman total.
Hasil dari peramalan demand, didapatkan bahwa kapasitas jaringan sekarang sebesar 960 pengguna, yang diperkirakan penggunaan internet tahun 2017 mencapai 1245, sehingga tidak mencukupi untuk melayani keseluruhan jumlah pelanggan. Lalu dari hasil peramalan demand kebutuhan bandwidth 10 tahun mendatang, yaitu pada tahun 2021 paket 384 Kbps sebesar 478,080 Mbps, kebutuhan bandwidth paket 512 Kbps sebesar 297,545 Mbps, kebutuhan bandwidth paket 1 Mbps sebesar 204,343 Mbps dan kebutuhan bandwidth paket 2 Mbps sebesar 111,1 Mbps. Semua paket menggunakan model kuadratik, karena memiliki nilai MAPE terkecil. Total bandwidth mencapai 1091,068 Mbps. Hasil perancangan menunjukkan bahwa perancangan untuk perumahan Setraduta Bandung menggunakan 5 buah ODC dan 190 buah ODP dengan jumlah pelanggan sekitar 1245 ONT. Hasil perhitungan Link Power Budget yaitu total redaman yang dihasilkan pada uplink sebesar 24.336 dB, dan total redaman pada downlink sebesar 23.951 dB , kedua redaman ini masih berada di bawah standar GPON sesuai ITU-T G.984 sebesar 28 dB, maupun standar yang dikeluarkan pihak Telkom sebesar 28 dB. Nilai Margin daya yang diperoleh 4.049 dBm dari hasil perhitungan downlink dan 3.664 dBm yang diperoleh dari hasil perhitungan uplink, keduanya menghasilkan nilai yang masih berada diatas 0 (nol) dB. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa link memenuhi kelayakan link power budget. Hasil uji Rise Time Budget yaitu untuk arah downlink pada pelanggan terjauh menghasilkan total waktu sebesar = 0.2583 ns. Waktu tersebut masih berada dibawah nilai waktu sistem NRZ sebesar 0.2917 ns. Untuk arah uplink pada pelanggan terjauh menghasilkan waktu total sebesar = 0.2505 ns. Waktu tersebut masih berada dibawah nilai waktu sistem NRZ sebesar 0.5833 ns.Kata Kunci : Triple play, FTTH, GPON, Power Link Budget, Rise Time Budget.ABSTRACT: Setraduta residential located at west Bandung is border with cimahi city, it is luxurious and modern housing. In this final project, made forecasting demand to know the number of internet users and bandwidth customers for the next few years. Then design access network FTTH using GPON technology with make initial path then determination of the device, specifications, layout and volume are used. Then to feasibility system of the analyst with parameter Power Link Budget, Rise Time Budget, and the total attenuation.
Results from forecasting demand, it is found that the capacity of current network of 960 users, it is estimated use the Internet in 2017 to reach 1245, is insufficient to serve the overall number of customers. Then from the results of forecasting demand bandwidth requirement for next 10 years, in 2021 at 531.456 Mbps for package of 384Kbps, bandwidth requirements package 512 Kbps of 297.545 Mbps, bandwidth requirements for packet 1 Mbps of 204.343 Mbps and bandwidth requirements package 2 Mbps of 111.1 Mbps. All the packages using quadratic models, because it has the smallest MAPE. Total bandwidth reach 1091,068 Mbps. The results that design of Setraduta residential using 5 pieces ODC and 190 pieces ODP and 1245 ONT. Link Power Budget calculation results are generated on the total attenuation of 24.336 dB for uplink and for downlink total attenuation of 23.951 dB, the attenuation is still below the standard GPON according ITU-T G.984 at 28 dB and the standards PT.Telkom at 28 dB. Power margin value is 4.049 dBm for downlink and 3.664 dBm for uplink, both produce value more than 0(zero) dB. This is indicates that the link meet the eligibility link power budget. The test results Rise Time Budget is for the downlink at the farthest customers resulted in a total time of = 0.2583 ns. The time is below the value of the NRZ system of 0.2917 ns. For the uplink direction the farthest customers result total time = 0.2505 ns.
