ABSTRAKSI: UN sering kali menjadi momok yang menakutkan mengingat masih banyaknya peserta didik yang gagal menghadapinya. Oleh karena itu, pelatihan soal ujian yang intensif melalui try out diperlukan untuk memberikan pengalaman dalam menyelesaikan soal. Selain itu, dukungan secara psikis dan mental juga diperlukan untuk mengkondisikan mereka sehingga mereka memiliki kesiapan tidak hanya dari sisi materi tetapi juga kesiapan mental. Sebab itulah dalam tugas akhir ini akan dirancang suatu aplikasi try out Ujian Nasional Sekolah Dasar ber-platform Android 2.2 Froyo. Aplikasi ini akan dibenamkan pada smart phone agar peserta didik dapat berlatih soal-soal kapanpun dan dimanapun mereka berada. Namun diharapkan tetap dalam pengawasan orang tua.
Aplikasi yang dibuat dalam Tugas Akhir ini adalah aplikasi untuk membantu siswa/I sekolah dasar dalam mengahdapai UASBN. Fitur-fitur yang dimiliki aplikasi TryOut ini diantaranya Soal dan Solusi, TryOut, Tips dan Trik, Info SMP Negeri, Review TryOut, dan My Score. Saat melakukan tryout pada aplikasi ini user dapat memilih level soal dan jumlah soal yang diinginkan hal ini efektif memberikan kesan user sedang bermain game dari pada belajar jadi user bisa melaksanakan tryout dengan senang hati. Pada Menu Review Tryout berisi soal-soal yang dijawab salah oleh user saat melakukan tryout. Jadi, user dapat mengetahui soal apa saja yang dijawab salah dan diharapkan dapat mengerjakannya kembali. Untuk menu „Info SMP Negeri‟ user mendapat informasi mengenai SMP Negeri Favorit se-Jabodetabek. Informasinya terdiri dari profil, foto sekolah, alamat, no telp, website resmi sekolah, website info penerimaan siswa baru, dan lokasi SMP pada peta. Menu terakhir yaitu „My Score‟, disini user dapat mengetahui riwayat tryout mereka meliputi tanggal pelaksanaan tryout, nilai tryout, level soal yang dikerjakan, dan nama user yang melaksanakan tryout.
Dari hasil pengujian yang dilakukan didapatkan hasil bahwa aplikasi ini dapat menjalankan semua fungsi dan fiturnya sesuai dengan yang diharapkan. Aplikasi ini juga membantu anak untuk mengerjakan tryout dengan cara yang fun.Kata Kunci : Try Out, Android, UASBN, dan Info SMP Negeri.ABSTRACT: UN is often a frightening specter, still remember the number of students who failed to face it. For that reason in this final project will designed an Try Out application for National Primary School Examination on Android 2.2 platform (froyo). This application will be embedded on a smart phone so that learners can practice problems whenever and wherever they are. However expected to remain under the supervision of parents.
In this Final Project designed an application to help elementary school students in UASBN. The features of this tryout application are Problems and Solutions, tryout, Tips and Tricks, Junior High School Info, Review tryout, and My Score. When performing a tryout on this application user can choose the level of test and the decided amount of task. This is effectively gives impression for user like were playing games than studying, so that the user can carry out the tryout with pleasure. At the Review Menu tryout contains the questions that are answered either by the user when performing tryout. Thus, the user can find out about what the answer wrong and expected to do it again. On menu 'Junior High School Info' user gets information about a state favorite school in Jabodetabek. The information consists of profiles, school photos, addresses, phone numbers, school's official website, website info admission of new students, and junior high school location on the map. The last menu is 'My Score', here the user can know the history of their tryout includes the date of execution, tryout scores, tryout level, and the name of the user who execute tryout.
From the results of tests performed showed that these applications can run all the functions and features are as expected. This application also helps the child to work in a fun tryout.Keyword: Try Out, Android, UASBN, and Junior High School Info.
