ABSTRAKSI: Web Service merupakan fenomena baru dalam dunia IT, dimana konsep ini memungkinkan suatu aplikasi dapat berbicara dengan aplikasi lainnya: setiap saat, di mana saja, dengan menggunakan platform apa saja. Web Service sangat potensial bagi perkembangan aplikasi Business to Business, dimana dua buah perusahaan dapat melakukan pertukaran informasi tanpa melakakukan proses yang panjang dan tanpa batasan platform yang digunakan melainkan hanya dengan menggunakan service-service yang disediakan pada Web Service tersebut..
Dalam penelitian ini dibahas bagaimana cara untuk menambahkan atau mengurangi service secara online pada sebuah Web Service, tanpa memperhatikan aktifitas apa yang dilakukan oleh service yang ditambahkan. Selain itu analisa juga dilakukan dalam pengaturan penjadwalan untuk pengaksesan yang dilakukan lebih dari satu user secara bersamaan.
Implementasi dari Web Service ini memerlukan sebuh penjadwalan karena dimungkinkan beberapa user memanfaatkan sistem ini secara bersamaan. Teknik yang ditawarkan yaitu mengunakan antrian dan database. Dari hasil pengujian masing-masing teknik memiliki kekuranga dan kelebihan masingmasing, dimana dengan menawarkan proses yang paralel teknik antrian berlangsung lebih cepat, sedangkan database menawarkan kesempatan buat melakukan analisa karena kode-kode yang dimasukan disimpan terlebih dahulu dalam tabel-tabel.Kata Kunci : Web Services,menambah atau mengurangi service, teknikABSTRACT: Web Service, now become a new IT phenomena, which possibly make an application “talk” each other : anytime, anywhere, with any kind of platform, so possibly make companies share data and business capability each other, through communication between computer application, using internet technology (web based). Web Service has a very potential use in Business to Business application. It’s because the application allows several companies exchange their information one each other without doing some process that spend so much time and without any platform boundary, just only by using services available.
This research discussed how to add or reduce a service in a Web Service, online, without pay attention in what the services do, so control to the activity of the services is not a main object of this research implementation. And how to keep the Web Service save and control the schedule for more then one access in one time.
The implementation of this Web Service need a scheduler to control many user that use the system concurrenly. The technique used are queue and database. From the testing these two kind of technique has there advantage and disadvantage, where queue give a parallel processing that make this technique running faster than database, but database give an aportunity to the kode to be analize first before inserted into the web Service specified.Keyword: web services, add or reduce service, scheduler technique
