ABSTRAKSI: Ilmu Faro‟idh atau ilmu waris merupakan salah satu ilmu yang harus dipahami oleh umat islam karena dapat mencegah pertikaian dan keretakan hubungan keluarga. Banyak umat muslim yang tidak mengerti ilmu faroidh atau ilmu waris ini karena menganggap masalah ini terlalu kompleks dan tidak terlalu memahami perhitungan waris ini. Dan juga terbatasnya pakar yang memahami ilmu ini.
Semakin berkembangnya teknologi telah mendorong pemakaian teknologi di segala bidang kehidupan manusia. Teknologi yang digunakan diharapkan dapat memberikan kemudahan pada manusia untuk melakukan aktivitasnya. Dengan teknologi yang ada saat ini maka untuk mempermudah perhitungan waris dibuatlah “Aplikasi Perhitungan Harta Waris berdasarkan Hukum Islam berbasis J2ME” untuk memudahkan perhitungan waris ini dengan menggunakan software Netbeans.
Adapun hasil yang didapat setelah merancang aplikasi perhitungan waris ini dan mengimplementasikan ke perangkat handphone secara langsung adalah aplikasi perhitungan waris ini berjalan dengan baik di handphone yang berbasis Java (J2ME) dan dapat menghitung waris dengan ahli waris yang berjumlah dua puluh empat. Dengan menggunakan aplikasi ini, umat muslim dapat terbantu untuk menghitung waris dengan cepat dan tepat.Kata Kunci : Harta waris, J2ME, Netbeans.ABSTRACT: Science Faro'idh or Science of inheritance is one science that must be understood by Muslims because it can prevent conflicts and family rift. With the technology available today to facilitate the calculation of inheritance was made "Application of Calculation of Property Inheritance based on The Islamic Law based J2ME" to facilitate the calculation of inheritance by using Netbeans software.
The results obtained after the application of the calculation of inheritance is designing and implementing the mobile device is the direct heir computing applications is progressing well in mobile-based JAVA (J2ME), and can calculate the heir to the heir, amounting to twenty-four.
