ABSTRAKSI: Pada masa sekarang ini pemesanan makanan telah banyak dilakukan melalui SMS (Short Message Service), namun seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi semestinya kita bisa memanfaatkannya dengan maksimal sehingga sistemnya menjadi lebih terarah. Hal ini didukung juga oleh munculnya beberapa handphone dengan fasilitas internet yang banyak terdapat dipasaran, salah satu handphone yang sedang berkembang pesat sekarang yaitu smartphone berbasis android.
Pada proyek akhir ini dibuat suatu aplikasi sistem dengan judul APLIKASI SISTEM PEMESANAN MAKANAN DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN JAVA BERBASIS ANDROID VERSI 2.2 yang bertujuan seseorang dalam hal ini adalah pemesan makanan bisa melakukan order atau hanya sekedar melihat-lihat menu makanan melalui smartphone androidnya. Pada aplikasi ini juga dilengkapi dengan gambar dan daftar menu yang tersedia serta informasi dari makanan tersebut.
Keluaran dari proyek akhir ini berupa suatu aplikasi pemesanan makanan yang digunakan khusus pada smartphone android, dan hanya dilakukan pada jarak dekat (Sukabirus, Sukapura, Babakan Ciamis, PGA). User pengguna android harus terhubung dengan paket data internet agar bisa mengakses aplikasi ini.

At the final project created an application system with the title FOOD ORDERING APPLICATIONS SYSTEM USING JAVA BASED ANDROID VERSION 2.2 that aims to someone in this case is food buyer can make an order or to simply look at the menus of food through the Android smartphone. In this application also comes with a picture and a list of available menus as well as information from the food.
The output of this final project in the form of a food ordering application that is used specifically in the smartphone android, and is only performed at close range (Sukabirus, Sukapura, Babakan Ciamis, PGA).
