ABSTRAKSI: Drive test adalah suatu kegiatan yang bertujuan untuk mengumpulkan data hasil pengukuran kualitas sinyal suatu jaringan. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan mengendarai mobil pada rute tertentu yang didalamnya terdapat tools yang terkonfigurasi yang membutuhkan keahlian khusus. Sehingga untuk melakukannya hanya dapat dilakukan oleh drive test engineer dan juga cakupan pengukuran terbatas pada rute jalan yang ditentukan sehingga tidak mencakup level sinyal terima secara keseluruhan. Oleh karena itu, pada proyek akhir ini dibuat aplikasi drive test berbasis android yang mudah dioperasikan. Pengguna cukup terkoneksi dengan akses internet dan GPS untuk menjalankan aplikasi. Juga, aplikasi dapat dibawa kemanapun tidak terbatas pada rute jalan tertentu.
Aplikasi drive test ini berfungsi melakukan tracking parameter. Hasil tracking ini di marker di google maps berupa balon warna yang memiliki informasi level sinyal terima atau RSSI, latitude, dan longitude. Sehingga pengguna dapat melihat level sinyal terima yang didapat pada posisi mereka sekarang. Kemudian, jika aplikasi dihentikan maka data hasil tracking tersimpan di file csv. File ini dikirimkan ke server dan disimpan ke database MySQL. Selanjutnya di tampilkan ke google maps web berupa balon warna yang berisi informasi semua parameter. Sehingga pihak operator mengetahui level sinyal terima suatu daerah yang sebenarnya.
Berdasarkan hasil pengujian yang dilakukan bahwa aplikasi dapat bekerja pada sistem operasi android dan fitur aplikasi dapat berfungsi sesuai yang diharapkan. Juga, berdasarkan hasil quisioner didapatkan 16 responden dari 30 responden atau 53 % menyatakan aplikasi ini layak untuk dikembangkan lebih lanjutKata Kunci : Drive Test, Android, GPS, Google MapsABSTRACT: Drive test is an activity have decision to collect data from a network signal quality measurements. This drive test applications perform tracking function parameters. The results of this tracking marker in google maps in the form of color balloons with information received or RSSI signal levels, latitude, and longitude. This file is sent to the server and stored into a MySQL database. Later in the show to google maps balloon colors web form that contains all the parameter information. Based on the results of tests performed that the application can work on the android operating system and application features to function as expected.
