ABSTRAKSI: Dalam era globalisasi ini begitu banyak orang yang menggunakan teknologi untuk memenuhi kebutuhannya. Memang tidak bisa dipungkiri lagi bahwa kebutuhan akan teknologi saat ini sangat tinggi, juga dalam lingkungan sekolah. Kebanyakan sekolah negeri yang ada belum memiliki sistem informasi akademik yang berbasis website agar dapat diketahui oleh masyarakat luas.
Pada proyek akhir ini akan dibuat sebuah website berbasis CMS yang menggunakan pemrograman PHP untuk digunakan sebagai user interface dan MySQL sebagai databasenya beserta fitur penerimaan siswa baru berbasis sms gateway dan fitur pendukung lainnya. Website ini didesain agar dapat membantu masyarakat dalam mencari informasi akademik, penerimaan siswa baru, dan profil dari sekolah ini, yang akan diimplementasikan pada website informasi akademik SMPN 3 Lembang.
Hasil akhir dari pembuatan Website Informasi Akademik SMPN 3 Lembang dan Sistem PPDB (Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru) Online Menggunakan SMS Gateway ini yaitu untuk mempermudah masyarakat dan alumni dalam mencari informasi serta untuk mempermudah sekolah memberikan informasi. Dengan demikian website ini bisa bermanfaat bagi sekolah, alumni dan masyarakat.

The website is designed to assist people in finding academic information, new admissions, and the profile of this school, which will be implemented on the website academic information of SMPN 3 Lembang.
The final result of making this Academic Information Website of SMPN 3 Lembang and PPDB Online System Using SMS Gateway is to facilitate society and alumni in finding information as well as to facilitate the school to provide information. Then this website can be beneficial to the school, alumni and the society.
