ABSTRAKSI: Selama ini, para mahasiswa IT Telkom, kesulitan dalam menemukan informasi mengenai kegiatan kampus. Umumnya para mahasiswa mencari tahu informasi kegiatan kampus melalu sosial media atau melalui selembaran yang ditempel di mading - mading yang ada dikawasan kampus IT Telkom. penyebaran informasi dengan cara seperti itu dirasa kurang efisien, sehingga banyak mahasiswa yang ketinggalan informasi mengenai kegiatan kampus yang ada di IT telkom
B erdasarkan hal diatas, maka pada pengerjaan proyek akhir ini akan dibuat sistem informasi yang dapat memudahkan para mahasiswa dalam mendapatkan infromasi mengenai kegiatan kampus. Sistem informasi ini merupakan sistem informasi berbasis android sehingga aplikasi dapat digunakan oleh pengguna smartphone android dan membuat sistem infromasi ini menjadi lebih portable . Aplikasi ini nantinya akan mencakup kegiatan kampus berupa informasi mengenai beasiswa, lowongan kerja, kegiatan seminar, workshop , serta kegiatan yang berhubung an dengan perkuliahan lainnya. P ada informasi mengenai lowongan kerja , para mahasiswa dapat langsung mengetahui lokasi kantor yan g menawarkan lapangan pekerjaan. Informasi lokasi tersebut terintergrasi dengan Geogra phic Informa tion System (GIS) , sistem ini didukung bantuan peralatan Global Positioning System (GPS) yang tersedia pada smartphone android. Informasi lokasi juga diapatkan berdasrkan koordinat google maps . Selain itu para mahasiswa juga dapat melakukan pemesana tiket s eminar /worskhop dan acara melalui aplikasi android ini dengan sistem sms gateway
Hasil proyek akhir ini ada suatu aplikasi Eletronik Majalah Dinding (E - Mading) untuk memudahkan para mahasiswa beserta civitas akademik IT Telkom dalam memperoleh informasi mengenai kegiatan perkuliahan yang ada di kampus IT telkom yang berbasis sms gateway dan Geogra phic Information System (GIS)

Basic on that, this finished project will made the information system could facilitate of students to get the information. This information system is the adroid based system which used by android smartphone users and make it more portable. Presently, the application will covered campus activity such as information about scholarship, job vacancy, talkshow, workshop, and others. For the information about job vacancy, students could detected the offic e’s location offering the job. The information will intergrating with Geogra phic Information System (GIS), that system supported by Global Positioning System (GPS) tools available on android smartphone. That will be able based on google maps coordinate. In addition, students could order the talkshow /workshop ticket with this application by sms gateway system.
Result of this project are the certain electronic magazine showing application to facilitate the IT Telkom’s students and civita academica for gett ing information about activity class with sms gateway and geofraphic Information System based.
