ABSTRAKSI: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat perancangan Sistem Pemberitahuan Adanya Gangguan LCD Proyektor di Gedung B IT Telkom dalam bentuk prototype. Sistem ini akan mempermudah bagi dosen atau mahasiswa yang ingin memberitahu kepada Rooster bahwa LCD proyektor yang akan mereka gunakan untuk kegiatan belajar mengajar di kelas yang mereka gunakan mengalami gangguan.
Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian terapan yang bersumber dari permasalahan bagaimana cara untuk mengetahui secara efektif kepada Rosster jika LCD proyektor di suatu ruang kelas di gedung B mengalami gangguan atau tidak bisa digunakan karena sebab tertentu. Namun, dalam penelitian tidak dijelaskan secara terperinci mengapa LCD proyektor tersebut mengalami gangguan. Sistem ini terdiri dari 4 blok perancangan, yaitu blok sistem minimum Atmega16 yang berfungsi untuk memproses data yang masuk dan keluar dari sistem, blok LCD 2x16 yang berfungsi untuk memberitahu langkah-langkah dalam menggunakan sistem ini, blok keypad yang berfungsi untuk memasukkan password, dan blok push button sebagai tombol untuk mengirimkan sinyal kepada Rooster. Akhir dari sistem ini bekerja, terdapat denah yang dibuat yang digunakan untuk mengetahui ruangan mana yang telah menekan tombol menggunakan aplikasi Visual Basic 6.0. Teknik pengumpulan data secara teknis dilakukan dengan cara menguji sistem yang dihubungkan pada suatu alat ukur tertentu dan pengambilan data juga dilakukan dengan angket. Data yang telah didapat dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif.
Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa, pada pengujian secara teknis sistem tidak sesuai dengan yang diharapkan. Sistem tidak dapat beroperasi pada jarak lebih dari 4 meter. Hasil dari angket yang telah disebar, menunjukan bahwa 4 dari 30 koresponden yang sangat setuju dan 8 dari 30 menyatakan setuju sistem dapat secara efektif untuk memberitahu Rooster jika terjadi gangguan LCD proyektor, dengan kata lain hanya sedikit yang menyatakan bahwa sistem ini dapat bekerja secara efektif. Sehingga sistem ini belum layak untuk digunakan.

This system will make it easier for faculty or students who want to tell the LCD projector Rooster that they will use for teaching and learning activities in the classroom that they use disorders.In this final project, I had the idea to make the system notices a disturbance in the classroom projector that aims to quickly notify the Rooster that projectors are located in the classroom disorder. However, this system does not specify what happens to the interference project.
This research includes applied research that originates from the problem to determine how effectively the Rosster if the LCD projector in a classroom in the building B impaired or can not be used because of certain reasons . However , the study does not explain in detail why the LCD projector impaired . This system consists of 4 blocks of the design , which blocks ATMEGA16 minimum the system that serves to process the data in and out of the system , 2x16 LCD block that serves to inform the steps in using this system , which serves to block the keypad to enter a password , and block push button as a button to send a signal to the Rooster . End of this system to work , there is a plan that is made that is used to determine which rooms have pressed the button using Visual Basic 6.0 applications . Data collection techniques are technically done by testing the system which is connected to a particular gauge and data retrieval is also performed with a questionnaire . The data have been obtained were analyzed descriptively quantitative and qualitative.
The results showed that, in testing the system technically is not as expected. The system can not operate at a distance of more than 4 meters. The results of the questionnaire that has been deployed, shows that 4 of the 30 correspondents who strongly agree and 8 of the 30 states the system can effectively agrees to notify in the event of disruption Rooster LCD projector, in other words, only a few states that this system can work effectively. So the system is not feasible to use.
