ABSTRAKSI: Informasi merupakan hal yang sangat penting dalam sebuah sistem. Aliran informasi yang baik akan menjadikan orang-orang mengetahui segala hal yang terjadi dalam sistem tersebut. Kualitas penyebaran informasi sangat ditentukan oleh sumber informasi yang digunakan. Semakin handal sumber informasinya, maka aliran informasinya juga akan semakin baik. Laboratorium-laboratorium di Fakultas Sains IT Telkom menggunakan majalah dinding sebagai sumber informasi utama. Informasi yang dipublikasi melalui majalah dinding laboratorium adalah jadwal registrasi, formulir registrasi, jadwal praktikum, soal-soal Tugas Pendahuluan, pembagian kelompok praktikum, nilai hasil praktikum, dan lain-lain. Hal ini dinilai kurang efisien karena mahasiswa harus datang langsung ke lokasi majalah dinding untuk melihat informasi.
Pada Proyek Akhir ini telah dibuat suatu sistem informasi berbasis web dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP yang didalamnya terdapat fitur-fitur yang mempermudah aliran informasi di Laboratorium Fakultas Sains. Fitur-fitur tersebut diantaranya adalah publikasi informasi, memasukkan dan rekapitulasi nilai, rekapitulasi honor asisten praktikum, dll.
Sistem ini dapat menjadi solusi sebagai suatu sistem informasi yang efektif dan efisien bagi Laboratorium Fakultas Sains IT Telkom. Kepuasan kuantitatif dari pengguna menyatakan bahwa sistem bermanfaat sebesar 76%, sistem memiliki fitur yang lengkap sebesar 74%, sistem mudah digunakan sebesar 74%, sistem memiliki tampilan yang bagus 78%, kecepatan sistem saat diakses cepat sebesar 63%, dan sistem memiliki kualitas yang baik sebesar 80%.Kata Kunci : sistem informasi, web, PHP, Laboratorium Fakultas Sains.ABSTRACT: Information is very important in a system. The more reliable source of information, the flow of information will also be better. IT Telkom Faculty of Science Laboratories use wall magazine as a primary source of information. The information published through the laboratory wall magazine is the registration schedule, registration form, schedule lab, Introduction Task questions, score, and others. It is inefficient because the students have to come directly to the site to see information bulletin.
In this final project has created a web-based information system using the PHP programming language in which there are features that facilitate the flow of information in the Faculty of Science Laboratory. Such features include the publication of information, and enter the value recapitulation, recapitulation lab assistant salaries, etc..
This system could be a solution as an information system that effectively and efficiently for the IT Telkom Faculty of Science Laboratories.
