ABSTRAKSI: iii ABSTRAK Inkubator Bayi adalah sebuah wadah tertutup yang kehangatan lingkungannya dapat diatur dengan cara memanaskan udara dengan suhu tertentu yang berfungsi untuk menghangatkan bayi. Menurut data statisitik pengukuran dan kalibrasi yang dilakukan oleh BPFK Sura baya tahun 2006 - 2007, terjadi kecenderungan masalah pada suhu dan Over Heat pada matras. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut maka perlu dibuat sebuah sistem pemantauan temperatur udara pada tabung inkubator bayi. Sistem ini menggunakan jaringan zigbee dalam p roses pengiriman informasi terkait kondisi suhu pada inkubator dan kondisi suhu pada bayi. Pada proyek akhir ini, dibuat inkubator yang sederhana dan murah namun tidak menghilangkan fungsi inkubator tersebut. Inkubator ini menggunakan mikrokontroller sebag ai central processing unit dan menambahkan beberapa alat untuk memantau kesehatan bayi seperti pengukur suhu tubuh serta pengukur kelembaban udara serta pemanas ruangan menggunakan heater . Selanjutnya, data kesehatan bayi tersebut akan dikirimkan ke dokter yang menangani melalui sebuah jaringan zigbee sehingga kondisi bayi tetap dapat terpantau secara berkala walaupun dalam jarak jauh. Hasil pemantauan inkubator yang ditampilkan adalah suhu i nkubator, suhu bayi, dan kelembaban inkubator . Pada inkubator ini, suhu inkubator telah diset pada suhu 32 - 34 o C , seusai dengan kebutuhan kehangatan ruangan bayi prematur pada umumnya. Harapan kedepannya, sistem ini dapat bermanfaat bagi dokter serta peraw at di rumah sakit untuk memantau kondisi si bayi, serta sistem ini dapat dikembangkan kembali.KATA KUNCI: Kata kunci : inkubator bayi, controller , sensor suhu , zigbee, GUABSTRACT: iv ABSTRACT Infant Incubator is a closed container that the warmth of the environment can be set by means of heating the air to a certain temperature which serves to warm the baby.
