ABSTRAKSI: Kesibukan manusia yang semakin padat, membuat kebutuhan akan delivery service semakin meningkat begitu pula untuk food delivery service di Kentucky Fried Chiken. Pemesanan selama ini dilakukan melalui telepon. Akan tetapi, dengan sistem seperti itu diharapkan pemesan harus hafal menu–menu yang ada pada KFC serta nomor telepon tiap outlet KFC. Oleh karena itu, maksud dari pembuatan Proyek Akhir ini adalah membangun sebuah Perangkat Lunak yang dapat membantu proses pemesanan agar lebih fleksibel.
Fungsionalitas yang dibangun meliputi tiga sisi yaitu pada sisi pelanggan, administrator dan administrator cabang. Pada sisi pelanggan terdapat fungsi untuk melihat menu-menu di KFC beserta harganya, pemesanan, melihat biaya yang harus dikeluarkan, menampilkan outlet-outlet KFC, dan melihat hal-hal terbaru yang ada di KFC. Pada sisi administrator terdapat fungsi mengelola data menu, cabang, admin cabang, data member, serta menerima delivery service dan mengirimkan delivery service ke outlet terdekat. Sedangkan pada sisi admin cabang terdapat fungsi menampilkan permintaan delivery service pelanggan dan menyimpan data transaksi delivery service.
Perangkat lunak ini dibangun menggunakan metode berorientasi objek. Implementasinya dibangun menggunakan bahasa pemrograman J2ME sebagai koneksi Handphone pelanggan dengan server, sedangkan bagian server dibangun menggunakan bahasa pemrograman web PHP (Hypertext Prepocessor), Dreamweaver MX sebagai editor dan MySQL sebagai databasenya.Kata Kunci : food delivery service, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Handphone, J2ME,ABSTRACT: The increasing of daily activities makes the needed of food delivery service being more important, so does the food delivery service in Kentucky Fried Chiken (KFC). Usually customers make an order by phone. This way claim the customer to know the menu of KFC very well, also demanding them to know the phone number of each KFC outlet they want to order. Therefore, the purpose of this Final Project is to make software which can hold the more flexible order process for the customer.
This software has three main parties which are the customers, administrators, and branch administrators in each KFC outlet. From the customer point of view, this software will help them to see KFC menus, the price of each menu, ordering, and check the cost they have to pay, find the nearest KFC outlite, and other information related to KFC’s products and promotions. From the administrator side, this software will help them manage data of the menu, KFC outlites, branches administrators, member, and accept and send the KFC delivery service to the nearest outlite. In other hand, from the branches administrator’s point of view, this software will show the request of delivery services and save the transaction information
This software was made based on object orientation method. The implementation use the J2ME as the connection between the customer handphone and the KFC server. The server itself use the PHP (Hypertext Prepocessor), Dreamweaver MX as the editor, and the MySQL as the database.Keyword: food delivery service, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Handphone, J2ME,
