ABSTRAKSI: Website merupakan salah satu media penyedia informasi yang efektif dan efisien. Media ini didukung oleh teknologi jaringan yang menghubungkan satu komputer dengan komputer lainnya. Hal ini menyebabkan salah satu sisi pengguna komputer tersebut dapat berkomunikasi dengan sisi pengguna lainnya. Dengan adanya teknologi seperti ini, memungkinkan sebuah website dapat diakses dari manapun selama terhubung ke dalam jaringan tersebut.
Atas dasar pemikiran di atas, maka dibangunlah aplikasi yang berbentuk sebuah website yang terhubung hanya di dalam jaringan lokal. Aplikasi tersebut adalah “Aplikasi Website Internal PT (Persero) Angkasa Pura II Bandar Udara Polonia Medan” yang berbentuk web server. Dapat dilihat dari judul aplikasi ini bahwa aplikasi ini dibangun berdasarkan kebutuhan untuk PT (Persero) Angkasa Pura II Bandar Udara Polonia Medan.
Sebagai sebuah aplikasi web server, aplikasi website internal ini menyediakan permintaan yang dikirim oleh klien dari fasilitasfasilitas yang disediakannya. Dimana fasilitasfasilitas tersebut meliputi tempat penyimpanan berkas data terorganisir, transfer berkas, dan komunikasi. Aplikasi website internal ini berfungsi sebagai media penghubung antara satu bagian dengan bagian lainnya.

By those perceptions, then built the application in website form which connected by local network. This application is “Internal Website Application of PT (Persero) Angkasa Pura II Polonia Airport Medan” which is a web server. We can see from the tittle, the application is built by the requirement of PT (Persero) Angkasa Pura II Polonia Airport Medan.
As a web server application, this internal website application serves the request that has been sent by client for the facilities it provides. Those facilities including organized data store, file transfer, and communication.
