ABSTRAKSI: Banyak nya API yang tersedia di Internet menciptakan jenis model aplikasi baru yang disebut mashup. Mashup menggabungkan dan mengolah informasi-informasi yang didapat dari hasil penmanggilan API untuk digunakan kembali pada aplikasi situasional. Salah satu API yang menjadi sumber data mashup adalah RSS atau sindikasi berita. Mashup dibuat dalam aplikasi mashup editor, dimana kebanyakan mashup editor memiliki tipikal antarmuka yang serupa. Di dalam tugas akhir ini, penulis membangun antarmuka wizard sebagai alternatif antarmuka mashup editor non-wizard dalam pembuatan mashup, serta menganalisis penggunaan/ usability wizard dengan melakukan usability testing. Didapatkan bahwa wizard dapat diterapkan sebagai alternatif antarmuka pembuatan mashup dengan parameter menghasilkan keluaran yang sama dengan antarmuka non-wizard. Pengguna memiliki nilai kepuasan yang bagus dalam menggunakan wizard, dan wizard cocok untuk pengguna yang baru dalam menggunakan mashup. Namun wizard tidak efisien untuk pengerjaan task yang kompleks.Kata Kunci : mashup, aplikasi situational, wizard, usability test.ABSTRACT: Many of its API which is available on the Internet creates a new type of application model called mashups. Mashups combine and process information gained from the results of API calls for reuse on a situational application. One of the API which is the source data mashup is an RSS feeds or news syndication. Mashups application made in the mashup editor, where most typical mashup editors have a similar interface. Within this final assignment, the authors build a wizard interface as an alternative interface of mashup editor instead of non-wizard in making mashups, as well as analyzing the usability by conducting usability test to wizard. It was found that the wizard can be applied as an alternative interface for mashup creation with producing the same output with non-wizard interface as a parameter. Users have the satisfaction of a good value in using the wizard, and wizard is suitabel for users who are new in using mashups. But the wizard is not efficient for processing complex tasks.Keyword: mashup, situational application, wizard, usability test.
