In this era of the Covid-19 pandemic, the role of hospitals as the frontline of health care unit is very important in overcoming Covid-19. This makes medical personnel and hospital employees have to maximize their performance in order to provide optimal services so that the institutions goals can be achieved. One of the factors that affect employee performance is the work environment.
This study aims to determine the effect of the work environment on employee performance at Dr. RM. Soedjarwadi Psychiatric Hospital Klaten. This research uses quantitative method with descriptive research. The sample of this study were administrative employees at Dr. RM. Soedjarwadi Psychiatric Hospital Klaten as many as 68 people. Sampling was done online through probability sampling method with simple random sampling technique. The data analysis used is descriptive analysis, classical assumption test analysis, and simple regression analysis.
The results showed that the dimensions of the work environment were categorized as very good and the dimensions of employee performance were categorized as good. Regression test shows that the work environment has a significant positive effect on employee performance.
