The impact of the pandemic on students and lecturers, one of which is the change in the form of learning. The health of the 1489 universities located on the island of Java is the first order with the highest number. Mental health is currently a hot issue among Indonesians. Self-adjustment to the new environment also affects objective well-being.This study aimed to analyze the effect of organizational communication and lecturer welfare on mental health in private universities in West Java.This research method is quantitative with a cross-sectional research design. The research sample was 400 lecturers from private universities in West Java with a cluster random sampling technique. The final stage of the study with multiple linear regression tests. The results showed that the F test and the results of multiple linear regression had a significant influence between organizational communication variables and lecturer welfare on mental health at private universities in West Java. Of these two variables, the most dominant is the variable of lecturer welfare. Based on the results of the determination test of organizational communication variables and lecturer welfare, there was a simultaneous influence on mental health by 40.3%. The remaining 59.7% were external variables not observed in this study and became the next researcher's suggestion in researching other variables.
