Perancangan ulang SLB Negeri Tamansari di Tasikmalaya dengan pendekatan Collaborative Learning bertujuan menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang inklusif, aman, dan mendukung kebutuhan siswa berkebutuhan khusus. Proyek ini mengidentifikasi berbagai permasalahan, seperti ruang kelas sempit, furnitur tidak ergonomis, minimnya zona individual, serta kurangnya fasilitas keamanan dan pemeliharaan bangunan. Melalui pendekatan desain yang berfokus pada kerja sama dan fleksibilitas ruang, perancangan mencakup penyediaan furnitur yang ramah disabilitas, pencahayaan dan ventilasi yang sesuai, serta elemen desain yang mendukung stimulasi sensorik. Hasil desain diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kenyamanan, efektivitas pembelajaran, dan interaksi sosial siswa, sekaligus menjadi referensi bagi sekolah inklusif lainnya.

The redesign of SLB Negeri Tamansari in Tasikmalaya using a Collaborative Learning approach aims to create an inclusive, safe, and supportive learning environment for students with special needs. This project identifies various issues, such as limited classroom space, non-ergonomic furniture, insufficient individual zones, and a lack of safety facilities and building maintenance. Through a design approach emphasizing collaboration and spatial flexibility, the redesign includes the provision of disability-friendly furniture, appropriate lighting and ventilation, and design elements that support sensory stimulation. The design outcomes are expected to enhance student comfort, learning effectiveness, and social interaction while serving as a reference for other inclusive schools.
